Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar storage technologies SignalForge (the "Service") uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage (persistent browser storage) and sessionStorage. We refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

Categories of cookies we use

• Strictly necessary (always on). Authentication session, CSRF protection, cookie-consent choice, and app preferences (theme, collapsed panels). Without these the Service cannot function. Examples: Supabase auth tokens in localStorage, sf_consent_v1.
• Analytics (consent required in EU/UK). Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation, loaded via Google Consent Mode v2. Deny by default until you accept in the banner. Examples: _ga, _ga_*.
• Payments (strictly necessary during checkout). Stripe sets cookies on the checkout page for fraud prevention and 3-D Secure. See Stripe's cookie policy at stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy.

We do not use

• Advertising or retargeting cookies.
• Cross-site tracking pixels.
• Social-media "like" buttons that set third-party cookies.

Managing your choices

• Change your analytics choice at any time — clear the sf_consent_v1 entry in your browser storage and reload; the consent banner will reappear.
• Use your browser's cookie settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and disable core functionality.
• Enable "Global Privacy Control" in your browser and we will treat it as a signal to keep analytics denied.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. See the "Your California privacy rights" section of our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We will update this page when we change cookie use. Material changes will be highlighted in the app and reset the consent banner.
