Risk Disclosures

Last updated July 8, 2026

SignalForge is trading automation software. It is not a broker, exchange, investment adviser, or fund manager. Please read the following disclosures carefully before enabling live trading.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss

Trading equities, options, futures, cryptocurrencies, and other instruments carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for every investor. You can lose some or all of your invested capital, and in leveraged products your losses can exceed your initial deposit. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose.

Past performance is not indicative of future results

Backtests, strategy statistics, template performance figures, whale-intel signals, and AI trade reviews shown in the Service are illustrative. They rely on historical data and assumptions and cannot predict future market behaviour. Live results will differ, often materially, from backtest results due to slippage, latency, fees, market impact, data quality, and changes in market regime.

No advice, no recommendations, no guarantees

Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, tax, or legal advice or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or instrument. Signals, alerts, templates, and AI output are informational only. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any trade is suitable for your circumstances and for the outcome of any trade you execute.

Automation-specific risks

  • Software and connectivity failures — bugs, outages, dropped connections, exchange downtime, or misconfiguration can cause missed orders, duplicate orders, or unintended exposure.
  • Third-party data — market data, whale intel, and news feeds come from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
  • Model risk — strategies and AI reviews can behave in unexpected ways when market conditions differ from the data they were built on.
  • Broker/exchange risk — the venue holding your funds may fail, restrict withdrawals, or change fees and API behaviour.

You are responsible for risk controls

SignalForge defaults new accounts to paper (simulated) trading and enforces safety checks before live trading can be enabled. Those defaults are safeguards, not guarantees. You must configure position sizing, stop losses, kill switches, and portfolio-level risk rules appropriate to your situation, and monitor them regularly.

Regulatory notice

SignalForge does not custody customer funds. It never requests withdrawal permissions on your broker/exchange API keys. Availability of features may be restricted based on your jurisdiction; you are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with the laws that apply to you.
